ItaliaFintech facilitates the growth and spread of the culture of innovation in the financial services and focuses its activities on three main areas: advocacy, networking and education.

Senior Executive with 30 years of experience mainly in the world of financial services, payment and insurance, actor in the innovation ecosystem, angel investor, partner and board member of IAG (Italian Angels for Growth) and board member also of listed and regulated companies. Committed to gender equality, founder and past president of the PWN Rome association and co-founder of #Inclusione Donna.
He has gained, in top positions, both institutional (senior manager of Banca d’Italia, Board Member of the Depositors’ Guarantee Fund of Cooperative Credit Banks) and market experience (positions as director and consultant) in banking and payment services. He was a contract professor at the University of Pisa in Monetary and Credit Economics and founded the Economia&FinanzaVerde website on environmental sustainability issues.
Full Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries, member of the Board and holder of the courses of “Innovation in Banking and Fintech” and “Sustainable Finance and Investments” at LUMSA University. Board member, treasurer and ordinary member of ADEIMF. He carries out training and research activities on fintech and sustainable finance issues.
Director of the Fintech & Insurtech Observatory and Senior Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Milano of Investment Banking and Finance Lab. She is Director of the Evening Executive MBA at the Graduate School of Management of Politecnico di Milano where she teaches Finance and Fintech in Executive, MBA, specialised masters and corporate programmes. She also conducts research, training and consultancy on digital innovation in financial institutions, Fintech and Corporate Governance. She holds a PhD, a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, cum laude.

Researcher at the Department of Finance, Bocconi University, where she is responsible for the teaching courses Bank and Fintech: Vision and Strategy and Fintech for Banking and FinancialTransformation. She is a faculty member at the Department of Finance of the SDA Bocconi School of Management. Author of numerous publications in the fintech field and member of the ABILab Board of Directors.
Over 20 years’ experience in advising national and international clients in extraordinary finance transactions and in advising on financial regulation, assisting investment funds, multinationals, start-ups and financial market operators. He has also gained specific expertise in the field of financial regulation, with a particular focus on technology finance operators, assisting payment institutions, e-money institutions, crowdfunding platforms and virtual currency service operators, banks, SIMs, SGRs and dealing with the establishment of investment funds.
Partner at Chiomenti and Head of the Financial Activities Regulation Practice. He previously worked at Banca d’Italia where he entered and was ranked first in the admission competition. Alessandro advises financial institutions on banking, financial and payment services regulation. He is the only Italian professional ranked in Band 1 by the UK Chambers & Partners guide in both the Financial Services Regulations and Fintech categories.
