Promoting diversity and inclusion in Fintech is a priority for the Association.
The percentage of women in the global workforce is still too low and it is important that our sector, which is inclusive by nature, recognizes the value of the women who are part of it. All the women, from the Senior Managers to those who are just beginning their careers to those who are returning to the workplace after a break or a change of direction.
We need to act in order to set in motion the cultural change required to achieve true gender equality and equal opportunities.
As an Association, we are committed to ensuring equal representation of women’s expertise in the events, workshops and seminars that we organize and to which we are invited.
It is with this spirit that ItaliaFintech has decided to promote excellence and female expertise, starting with concrete action in supporting, together with other important players in Italy, the Pledge launched by the Associazione M&M – Minima Moralia.
Some of our own members are directly involved in this initiative: Credimi, Epic and, more recently, AideXa.

Helping to develop a Fintech culture is a fundamental aspect of our activities.
It is important to make people, especially young people, aware of the opportunities offered by this sector that is growing rapidly.
For this reason the Association has decided to invest in the future of the best talents and is committed to propagating financial education among the younger generations.
We are proud to support the “I Fuoriclasse della Scuola (Outstanding School Students)” project, the first in Italy to offer scholarships to secondary school students who have won the MIUR (Ministry of Education, Universities and Research) Olympics, distinguishing themselves in all fields of education.
